Dinner in a typical Czech restaurant - brewery "U Flekù". Return to the hotel.
Praha (Prague): "Mother of Cities" or "City of a Hundred Spires" is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Known since as early as the 9th century AD, centre of the state for more than 1100 years. By the 14th century it was one of Europe's leading cultural and trade centres, for many decades during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus was also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Historic centre of Prague, which occupies the center of the city, is an architectural treasure on hilly banks of the Vltava River. It has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, making the city one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
3. Day : Prague, city tourPrague Castle (Hradèany), one of the biggest castles in the world. Seat of ancient Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors and Czech presidents contains many fine churches and palaces. Buildings represent every architectural style of the last millennium - St.Vitus Cathedral, impressive large Cathedral first built in the 10th cent. Containing the tombs of many kings, it is an excellent example of Gothic architecture and is the biggest and most important church in the country. Lunch in the Castle area in the Lobkowicz palace.
4. Day : Prague, Znojmo, wine cave of ©atov In the morning departure from Prague to Znojmo (250 km). During the day visit in the castle of Moravský Krumlov The "Slavonic epoppés" by the Alfons Mucha - the most important representative of the Art nouveau. Lunch in the wine restaurant in Znojmo. Dinner in the village ©atov (10 km from Znojmo) with wine tasting in the cellar. Return to the hotel.
"Slavonic epoppés": The " Slavonic epoppés "by Alfons Mucha is composed of twenty monumental paintings that retain the scenes from the history of the Czech nation and others Slavonic nations. Mucha considered the idea of painting the cycle already from 1900 when the Word axhibition in Paris.The whole cyclewas exhibited in tghe Fais palace of Prague in the year 1928 and painter dedicated his work to th Czech people. The cycle is exhibited in the castle Moravsky Krumlov.
Wine area of Znojmo: Czech Wine Act divides Czech lands into 2 major wine areas: Czech and Moravian. In Moravia there are 4 regions Znojmo, Mikulov, Velke Pavlovice and Slovacko. Znojmo region is famous for its terroir. The village Satov is base of famous Winery Znovin Znojmo.
5. Day : Znojmo, Lednice, wine area Mikulov Departure from Znojmo to Lednice. In the mornig visit Mikulov wine area, lunch and wine tasting in village Novosedly or Velké Pavlovice.
Arrival in Lednice, accommodation in the hotel. Dinner, folklore program and wine testing in local wine cellar. Return to the hotel.
Lednice (Cultural Landscape Lednice-Valtice Complex): World Heritage and Biospherical Reservation UNESCO registered as "an exceptional example of the designed landscape that evolved in the Enlightenment and afterwards under the care of a single family." It contains castles Valtice and Lednice and a lots of smaller objects like strongholds, churches, minaret, outlook-towers and the largest park in the country, which covers almost 300 km2 nicknamed "Garden of Europe" and "Garden of Paradise". The country is famous also for its excellent quality wines, vineyards, wine cellars and wine culture folk songs).
6. Day : Lednice, Valtice Complex, PragueVisit Lednice Castle - complex of numerous romantic buildings constructed in the English park acquired its final aspect in XIX century. The last reconstructions were done between years 1846-1858 in tudor neogothic style. Lunch in the restaurant in Valtice town.
7. Day : Prague, departure Programme depends on the hour of aeroplane´s departure. In the morning, individual visit to Prague with a possibility of buying souvenirs. Lunch individually in the course of walking through Prague New Town. Meal: Breakfast
