Dinner in a typical Czech restaurant - brewery "U Fleků". Return to the hotel.
Praha (Prague): "Mother of Cities" or "City of a Hundred Spires" is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Known since as early as the 9th century AD, centre of the state for more than 1100 years. By the 14th century it was one of Europe's leading cultural and trade centres, for many decades during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus was also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Historic centre of Prague, which occupies the center of the city, is an architectural treasure on hilly banks of the Vltava River. It has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, making the city one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
3. Day : Prague, city tourPrague Castle (Hradčany), one of the biggest castles in the world. Seat of ancient Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors and Czech presidents contains many fine churches and palaces. Buildings represent every architectural style of the last millennium - St.Vitus Cathedral, impressive large Cathedral first built in the 10th cent. Containing the tombs of many kings, it is an excellent example of Gothic architecture and is the biggest and most important church in the country. Lunch in the Castle area in the Lobkowicz palace.
4. Day : Prague, Český Krumlov Departure from Prague to Cesky Krumlov, accommodation. Visit the Castle of Český Krumlov, spectacular the second biggest castle in Bohemia, the jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. Castle and chateu, manor house´s complex and many wonderfull Baroque buildings. Lunch in a historical part of the town at the bank of the Vltava River. In the afternoon - visit to the historical centre of the town. After the end of the walking through the town free time for shopping. Dinner in an old restaurant near to river meander. Return to the hotel.
In the summer, you will get a tour of the castle. In winter months (November 1 - March 31) when the castle is closed, your guide will still take you up to the castle area for a view and to show you the courtyard.
Cesky Krumlov: One of the most and well preserved wonderful medieval cities in Central Europe, southwest of the Czech Republic. The first mentioned of the Castle Krumlov dates back between the years 1240 and 1242. It is registered in the UNESCO list of monuments of world significance.
5. Day : Český Krumlov, Salzburg Departure from Český Krumlov to Salzburg in Austria (300 km west of Vienna). Accommodation. Sightseeing of historical centre of the city - Altstadt (Old Town) with its world famous Baroque towers, churches and palaces. 17th century Baroque Salzburger Dom (Salzburg Cathedral). Lunch in the centre. Individual walking in the city. Dinner and program in Festung Hohensalzburg- fortress on Festungsberg hill dominating the old town with views over Salzburg, one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. Return to the hotel.
Salzburg: Literally "Salt Castle", the fourth-largest city in Austria, is one of the best-preserved city centers in the German-speaking world and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gothic Fortress of Hohensalzburg was founded in the 11th century. There are many beautiful noble palaces and churches. The most famous Salzburg citizen has been ingenious musician Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Many concerts of Mozart music are held here and therefore Salzburg became famous as a concert city. The city is noted for its Alpine setting on the banks of the Salzach River, at the northern boundary of the Alps.
6. Day : Salzburg, the Danube Valley, Vienna Departure from Salzburg to Vienna through Danube Valley. On the way beautiful views on Salzkammergut lakes, old villages, Wachau Valley, Krems - midland of Austrian wine. Lunch in a typical wine restaurant on Danube River. Check-in in the hotel in Vienna. First sightseeing in Vienna - Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral), most important religious building in Austria, current 136 meters high in romanesque and gothic form. Hofburg, for over 600 years the residence of the Austrian sovereigns, one of the most important centres of European history. Complex of 18 wings,19 courtyards and 2,600 rooms (Imperial Silver Collection, Sisi Muzeum, Imperial Apartments). Pitoresque apartment house Hundertwasser built between 1983 and 1986 is one of Vienna's most visited buildings. Wiener Prater amusement park.
Wien (Vienna): The capital of Austria. The city was known already in 1137. Recent appearance of majestic imperial capital dates back to the rule of Francis Joseph I. (1848-1916). Other famous personalities living in Vienna: W.A.Mozart, Johan Strauss The city centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage. In Vienna can be seen wide variety of architectural styles, mainly classical romanesque, baroque and classicist style but also modern architecture like Art Noevau style buildings. Site Vienna lies in the east of Austria and is close to Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary.
7. Day : Vienna, capital of Austria Second sightseeing in Vienna - Schönbrunn palace with gardens, Lunch in a typical restaurant in the centre. Free time for walks and shopping. Dinner individual. Evening program by the choice - either classical concert or Vienna Strauss waltzes. Return to the hotel
8. Day : Budapest, capital of Hungary Departure from Vienna to Budapest, accommodation in the hotel. Lunch in a restaurant in the centre. First sightseeing of historical city centre with escort. Varhegy (Castle Hill) on the western bank of Danube, where main attraction is Kiralyi Palota - the Royal Palace (or Buda Castle) from the 13th century. Matthias Church. Dinner.
Budapest: called the "Queen of Danube" because regarded as one of most delightfull and enjoyable towns in Europe. It was created by merging 3 historic cities: Buda, Pest and Old Buda, large part of them has status of World Heritage Site. Capital of Hungary is also known like "City of Spas", there are around hundred geothermal hot mineral springs and dozen thermal bath spas and pools used the largest thermal water cave system on the wolrd.
9. Day : Budapest Sightseeing with escort of other interesting places not visited during the previous day (Parliament neo Gothic buildings, neoclassical Saint Stephen Basilica, famous chain bridge over Danube River). In the afternoon either visit one of famous thermal bath spa complexes in Turkish periode style or individual program, shopping. Departure for a dinner in a "Csardas" out of the city. Return to the hotel
Csardas: are typical old pubs throughout the Hungarian countryside, where you'll find specialties of Hungarian cuisine, its excellent wines and liquors.
10. Day : Budapest, Bratislava Departure from Budapest to Bratislava, accommodation in the hotel. Lunch in the city centre. Sightseeing in the city. Most interesting historical buildings and monuments are concentrated in the Old Town (Stare mesto). The Old Town Hall, Main Square, Primate´s Square. The hilltop Bratislava Castle is landmark of the town. The site provide an excellent view of Bratislava and when good weather of Austria end Hungary. Danube embankment. Individual walking in the city, shopping. Dinner. Return to the hotel
Bratislava: Nowdays the capital of Slovak Republic, town of fascinating history connected with its favorable geographic location. During the Roman Empire in the 1st to 4th century this area was a military camp of Roman legions. In the 13th century under the castle the first settlement appeared - the future city. Bratislava (bordering Austria and Hungary) and Vienna are the two European national capitals which is one the closest to one other, at less than 60 km apart.
11. Day : Bratislava, Prague Departure from Bratislava to Prague. Lunch on the way to Prague. Accommodation in Prague hotel. Sightseeing of modern centre (Wenceslas Square). The farewell dinner with a rich music and dance folklore program. Typical Czech cuisine + unlimited consumption of beverages - wine, beer, soft drinks. Return to the hotel.
12. Day : Prague, departure Programme depends on the hour of aeroplane´s departure. In the morning, individual visit to Prague with a possibility of buying souvenirs. Lunch individually in the course of walking through Prague New Town. Meal: Breakfast
